Founded in 2018 by Ms Prabhashini Karalliyadde an Artist and strong, exceptional women entrepreneur, our journey began in Teldeniya, a rural village in Kandy, Sri Lanka. With a vision to make a positive impact on the local community, we started by producing beaded rubber slippers. Over time, our business has grown significantly, and we now have a monthly production capacity of over 3000 pairs.
One of our core values is supporting the rural economy by empowering women who were previously unable to work due to childcare responsibilities. At Sparkly, we provide a safe space within our premises for these women to bring their children while they work. By doing so, we not only create employment opportunities but also contribute to the overall well-being of the community.
